English-Speaking Sports Physiotherapist in Barcelona
A sports physiotherapy and rehabilitation clinic in the Eixample where you are treated in English, a physiotherapist and a strength coach work on the same patient, and nothing is treated before it is measured.
Fisiobox is a physiotherapy clinic at Carrer de Provença 455, Barcelona, a few minutes from Sagrada Família metro, where licensed physiotherapists and strength coaches treat athletes and non-athletes in English, Spanish and Catalan. First visits start with an assessment — ultrasound, tensiomyography or force-plate testing when it changes the decision — and end with a treatment plan you can take home.
What is different about being treated here
- You always start with a physiotherapist, and the physiotherapist and the strength coach share one patient file — the person who treats the injury and the person who rebuilds the strength are in the same room.
- We measure before we decide: musculoskeletal ultrasound, tensiomyography (TMG), force-plate and encoder testing. When the numbers say you are ready, you are ready; when they do not, we say so.
- The same protocol for a First Division footballer and for someone who hurt their back lifting a suitcase.
- Itemised invoices with the treating physiotherapist's registration number, for your insurer.
- Fixed Hyrox Prep and Hyrox Recover packages at €120 for anyone racing Hyrox Barcelona.

Who comes to us from abroad
Touring musicians and DJs between shows, visiting athletes and their staff, people running Hyrox Barcelona or the marathon, and residents who simply prefer to explain an injury in their own language. Barcelona has many English-speaking physios; what you get here is a sports clinic's equipment and a two-discipline team, in English.

Frequently asked questions
Do all your physiotherapists speak English?
You will be treated in English from the first message to the last session. Tell us when you book and we will schedule you with an English-speaking physiotherapist; the strength coaches who work alongside them also speak English.
Can I get an invoice for my travel or health insurance?
Yes. Every session comes with an itemised invoice in English or Spanish, with the clinic's fiscal details, the treatment performed and the treating physiotherapist's registration number — what most insurers ask for when you claim. We work on a reimbursement basis with private insurers: you pay for the session at the clinic, we give you an itemised invoice with everything your insurer asks for, and your insurer refunds the share your policy covers. We do not bill insurers directly. Check your policy beforehand for the percentage and number of physiotherapy sessions covered.
I am only in Barcelona for a few days. Can you still help?
That is common for us — touring artists, visiting athletes and people here for a race or a holiday. Book an initial assessment; we will treat what can be treated in the time you have and write down what to do when you are home. For Hyrox Barcelona we have fixed preparation and recovery packages.
How much does a session cost?
The initial assessment is €80. Physiotherapy or strength & conditioning sessions are €65 (€70 for professional athletes). You pay per session: it includes whichever techniques and technologies the professional decides to use.
How long is a session?
Each session lasts approximately 1 hour. Most run between 60 and 75 minutes: if 60 is enough for your case, it ends there; if you need more that day, it runs longer. You pay per session, not per minute.
Can I book just a test or a technique (TMG, EPI, INDIBA…)?
The technologies and techniques on this site (ultrasound, TMG, force plate, EPI, INDIBA, percutaneous neuromodulation, Physium, magnetotherapy…) are not booked separately. You book an assessment or a session — physiotherapy or strength & conditioning — and the professional decides what to apply in your case, and when. They are part of the session.
How do I book?
Use the booking page or call us. If it is your first visit, book an initial assessment: a physiotherapist examines you, uses ultrasound or force testing when it changes the decision, and only then proposes a treatment.
Where exactly are you?
Carrer de Provença 455, 3rd floor, in the Eixample — a few minutes on foot from Sagrada Família metro (L2 and L5). Open Monday to Friday, 09:00–20:00.
What if I am not an athlete?
Most of our patients are not. Back pain, a sprain on the stairs, recovery after surgery: everyone goes through the same assessment and the same technology as the professional players whose shirts hang on our wall.
